Black capped conure is also known as a black-capped parakeet. these birds are found in south-western Amazon Basin, in the slopes of Peru, Bolivia and Brazil. The bird has a total length of 25cm, that is about 15-20 grams smaller than a cockatiel. They have a great personality as the larger conures. Black capped conure have a “clown like” personality, and are a very enjoyable companion parrots because they like to interact and play with their owners.
